Maggie May went to the vet yesterday for a swelling on her left knee. Dr. W did a needle aspiration to get a better idea of what we are dealing with. Turns out, it is only a seroma! The fluid was clear and showed no signs of infection....yay! He said that the swelling may come back after he drains it, (it did) but will eventually be absorbed by the body. Seromas are a pocket of serous fluid and are fairly common after surgery. We are very happy with that news! Looks like all the purrs and prayers worked!!! Thanks!
Our next appointment is Friday at 4:00 to have the staples removed.
