Maggie May has a new friend in need, Reese. She is a 3 year old tortie diagnosed about two months ago with a luxating patella. Her mom even went for a second opinion and it was reconfirmed. Today, Reese goes in for her reevaluation and her mom is very worried. Mom and Reese both need lots of purrs and positive vibes.
Thanks!
Purrs from us, we do hope she'll be okay--presume surgery?
ReplyDeletePurrrrrrrrrrrrs!
ReplyDeleteHey Reese! Many purrs! Good luck. Can you read my comment I left yesterday on this blog for April - it has my experience of naughty kneecap surgery. Paws are crossed for you!!!
ReplyDeleteMy sisters and I are all sending purrs for sweetie Reese.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry Reese! You will feel so MUCH better after the surgery! When our cat was diagnosed with double luxating patellas at 7mo. I almost passed out in the vet office because I was so worried. But the surgery and recovery went well, and Marley is now 3 years out and jumping and running like crazy and has no pain or limp! Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteI am sending lots of purrs to Reese and her human!
ReplyDeletePurrPurr Reese! Coco had PL surgery on her LH leg in January after limping for 6 month and meds didn't help. She is 100% perfect now. I am so happy I had the surgery done, by board certified orthopedic vet at Veterinary Orthopedic Sports Medicine Center in Maryland. I don't know where Reese lives, but if within driving distance of them...the exceeded my expectations 110%
ReplyDeleteThanks to everyone for their well wishes! We just got back from the vet. We are going to try "cage-rest" to see if we can get some healing. It's going to be a LONG 4-6 weeks!!!
ReplyDeleteBut if it helps...
:)
we're keeping our paws crossed!
We are purring and praying for Reese and her Mom!
