Hey y'all! I got an awesome update from BillCat's mom this afternoon:
BillCat had his 6 week checkup this morning and the vet said the
left knee felt PERFECT!!!! Ahhhhhh! So now a month of room
confinement and limiting his jumping as much as we can. He says it will
be 6 months before completely healed. We go back in July and BillCat
will get X-rays then. And though early on in his recovery the right knee
was luxating a good bit, it seems to be back to normal so hoping it
won't require surgery.

Paws up for BillCat! I am purring that he heals without any problem!
ReplyDeleteFantastic news - go BillCat. We are delighted.
ReplyDeleteAnd what memories it does indeed bring back - those naked furs. Thank goodness those times are over. And your knees, and the rest of you, my dearest Maggie May, are just perfect.
Purring for BillCat. What great news!

I cannot thank you enough, all of you, for the postings on this website. . . especially you, Maggie May for being an inspiration and giving me the strength to go forward with my cat's luxating patella surgery last week. I found this page before committing to doing the surgery and have come back here now to follow the progress of those who have gone before my Tessi (a two year old brown patch Maine Coon) I look forward to reading all the posts and following the progress of each of you.
