Maggie May Update

Tomorrow will be one week since Maggie May's vet appointment. It's also one week of Trifluridine 1% eye drops- 4 times/day. Maybe it's wishful thinking, but the hubby and I both think that the lesion looks as though it has flattened these last couple of days. That sucker really stuck out from her eye last week. That alone is an improvement.

As for the size, it still looks be about the same diameter. You can also see in the picture that the surface looks different. Perhaps whatever it is, is starting to break up.

It sort of reminds me of a hurricane. The before image is like a powerful category 4 with the high cloud tops and tight eyewall. The bottom image is like when it starts to become disorganized after moving over cooler sea surface temperatures. The eyewall begins to collapse. Maybe it's a category 2 at this point.

The good news is- It doesn't look worse!

Thanks everyone for the well wishes, prayers and concern. We really, really appreciate each and every one of you!

  2. We are sending more purrs that whatever it is goes away. Paws crossed it isn't anything serious, it does look like it is getting better.

  4. Smooches to my beloved! Our friend the vet looked at the pictures and she said that it looked very much like it was viral, and these things take a while to clear up, and she hopes Maggie May is coping with the drops.
WIth much love from Finland North.
